Motivation
It's simple: I just want to find great craft beer spots wherever I go! Every time I visit a new city, I find myself googling some version of "Where to drink beer in [city]?"—and the results are usually hit-or-miss.
Sure, there are other beer and venue apps out there, but they’re not always as user-friendly, seamless or most importantly up to date as I’d like. Even if nothing else comes from this project, at least I’ll have my own log of favorite beer spots around the world.
Crowd sourcing information
Right now, the info you see on the site is manually gathered by me and a few awesome helpers. But the goal is for it to grow into something much bigger—a shared resource curated by beer lovers (or venues) from everywhere. Good old-fashioned crowdsourcing!
