Header photos

All locations need a good cover / header photo!

The default location / city header photos are sourced from the google places API, and it can be a bit hit or miss whether the picture selected gives a good representation of the city.

Anonymity

For all practical intents and purposes contributions to wheretodrink.beer are anonymous by default. No personal identifiable information is stored together with the review data, unless you specifically opt in for the purpose of getting a spot on our Supporters-page (not yet operational).

To prevent the most egregious attempts at review-spamming we might take measures which restrict a user's possibility to review the same venue multiple times in a certain timespan. To accomplish this we might use a value derived from your IP. If so it will be removed from our database when that timespan elapses, and it will never be linked to your review data directly.
